This privacy notice applies to all information collected through our website https://moneypatrol.ai, our mobile application, and any related services, sales, marketing or events (collectively, the "Services").
1. What information do we collect?
Personal information you disclose to us. We collect personal information you voluntarily provide when you register, express interest in our products, participate in the Services, or contact us. This may include app usage data, survey responses and similar information.
Payment data. We may collect data necessary to process your payment, such as your payment instrument number and security code. All payment data is stored by Stripe (see stripe.com/privacy).
Information automatically collected. Some information - such as your IP address, browser and device characteristics, operating system, language, referring URLs, country and usage information - is collected automatically when you visit the Services.
Information from our App. Mobile device data (device ID, model, manufacturer, OS, network) and push-notification preferences. You can disable push notifications in your device settings.
2. Will your information be shared with anyone?
We only share information with your consent, to comply with laws, to provide you with services, to protect your rights, or to fulfill business obligations. Specific legal bases include consent, legitimate interests, performance of a contract, legal obligations and vital interests. We may also share data in connection with a merger, sale of assets, financing or acquisition.
3. AI features and your data
MoneyPatrol uses artificial intelligence ("AI Copilot") to generate insights, summaries, forecasts and suggestions from your financial data. To produce these responses, we may send relevant, minimized portions of your data to trusted third-party AI providers (such as model gateways) strictly for the purpose of generating your output.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your personal financial data to train third-party foundation models. AI interactions may be logged for safety, abuse prevention and quality monitoring. You can contact support@moneypatrol.com to request deletion of your AI interaction history.
4. Cookies and tracking technologies
We may use cookies and similar tracking technologies (like web beacons and pixels) to access or store information. Specifics on use and how to refuse certain cookies are set out in our Cookie Notice.
5. How long do we keep your information?
We keep your personal information only as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this notice unless a longer retention is required or permitted by law. When there is no legitimate business need to process it, we will delete or anonymize it, or securely store and isolate it from further processing.
6. How do we keep your information safe?
We use appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect your personal information. However, no method of electronic transmission is 100% secure, and you access the Services at your own risk.
7. Do we collect information from minors?
We do not knowingly collect data from or market to children under 18 years of age. If we learn we have collected information from anyone under 18, we will deactivate the account and promptly delete the data. Contact support@moneypatrol.com with concerns.
8. Your privacy rights
You may review, change or terminate your account at any time. EEA, UK and Swiss residents have the right to complain to a local data protection authority. Email hello@moneypatrol.com with privacy questions.
9. Do-Not-Track signals
We do not currently respond to DNT browser signals. If a standard is adopted in the future, we will inform you in a revised version of this notice.
10. California residents
California Civil Code Section 1798.83 ("Shine The Light") permits California residents to request once a year, free of charge, information about categories of personal information we disclosed to third parties for direct marketing purposes. Submit requests in writing using the contact details below.
